Towarzyszem przez lata studiów był zaś indeks […]. Studencki indeks związał się z Andrzejem Wantułą nie tylko na okres studiów w Warszawie, o czym traktuje pierwsza część pracy. Towarzyszył mu również podczas studiów we Francji, najpierw w Montpellier, podczas studenckiego wyjazdu na Bliski Wschód, następnie w Paryżu i na koniec w alzackim Strasburgu. […] Autor prezentowanej książki, […] ma więc nadzieję, że […] wszyscy interesujący się tą problematyką znajdą w niej trochę mniej znanej historii tej postaci. Ocenę zostawiam jednak oczywiście Czytelnikom i życzę miłego wędrowania po międzywojennym świecie, pooranym bruzdami po Wielkiej Wojnie.
