What do you want when no one is watching?
What do you want, when the lights are off?
What do you want, when you are anonymous?
When we talk about sex, we talk about womanhood and motherhood, infidelity and exploitation, consent and respect, fairness and egalitarianism, love and hate, pleasure and pain. And yet so many of us don't talk about it at all.
In this groundbreaking book, Gillian Anderson collects and introduces the anonymous sexual fantasies of women from around the world (along with her own anonymous submission). They are all extraordinary: full of desire, fear, intimacy, shame, satisfaction and, ultimately, liberation. From dreaming about someone off-limits to conjuring a scene with multiple partners, from sex that is gentle and tender to passionate and playful, from women who have never had sex to women who have had more sex than they can remember, these fantasies provide a window into the most secret part of our minds.
Want reveals how women feel about sex when they have the freedom to be totally themselves.

To już szósta książka z cyklu wierszyków poświęconych nauce i ćwiczeniu głosek. Zawiera ona 322 wierszyki - zarówno dość łatwe, przeznaczone dla przedszkolaków upraszczających wyrazy, jak i trudniejsze, które mogą wykorzystywać nauczyciele szkół do uczenia czytania oraz ćwiczenia dykcji, a nawet dorośli szlifujący wymowę. Czytelnik odnajdzie w publikacji bajki, ukłony w stronę Krakowa, zabawne puenty i dużo nowego materiału poświęconego głosce [r].Do tworzenia wierszyków wykorzystałam materiał wyrazowy zgromadzony w Logopedycznym zbiorze wyrazów, wspaniale opracowanym przez Janinę Wójtowiczową.

A collection of hand-painted tattoo flash by prolific artist “John Wesley Harden,” a one-time member of the notorious Outlaws Motorcycle Club. Harden’s hand-painted flash embodies tattoo imagery of the 1970s, '80s, and '90s that was popular among biker subculture and military personnel primarily in the southeastern region of the United States. Harden bounced between Florida and Alabama, which is where he drew his inspiration for most of his unique designs. Although this book is not his complete collection of painted works, the imagery here captures the essence of a time in history when tattooing was mysterious, magical, and dangerous.
A visual history of the life of Augustus “Gus” Wagner and his work as a hand tattoo artist, exploring a relatively unknown area of American art history from the 1890s to the 1930s. In 1897, Gus Wagner embarked on a four-year career as a merchant seaman. While traveling the world, he discovered the art of tattooing, learning from tribesmen in Java and Borneo who showed him how to use traditional handmade tools. By 1901, Gus reportedly had 264 tattoos of his own (and over 800 by 1908), allowing him to promote himself as “the most artistically marked-up man in America.” Back home, Gus embarked on a 40-year career as a traveling tattooist, tattooed man, and circus performer. He largely eschewed the new electric tattooing machines that transformed the art form after 1890, and remained faithful to his handheld instruments. Along with other wandering artists, Gus carried tattooing inland from coastal ports, making it part of the culture of small-town America in the 20th century. Highlights of this book include:• More than 100 examples of Gus Wagner’s tattoo flash as well as photos of his life and work, including his handheld tattooing tools• Excerpts from interviews with Gus, telling his story in his own words• Selected passages from three of Herman Melville’s novels—Typee, White Jacket, and Moby Dick, to illuminate the context of the oral history of Gus Wagner (Melville was an astute observer of hand tattoo artists and their clientele)The tattoo flash in this book is a testimony to the richness of Gus Wagner’s image vocabulary, his life, and his artistic influences. This is the first in a series of three books exploring "the Last of the Hand Tattoo Artists." The next two books focus on Gus's wife, Maud, and their daughter, Lovetta, renowned hand tattoo artists in their own right.

As native Venetians leave the city and homes are rapidly purchased by corporate entities, these architectural gems risk being replaced or modified for cost-effective maintenance. This book serves as a visual preservation of these historical portals, providing a chance to appreciate their beauty and significance before they potentially disappear forever.
